Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes parking is very accessible. You’ll find two hours of free street parking directly outside the boutique, making arrival stress-free and convenient.

If you prefer a longer stay or are visiting with guests, there is additional free parking located in the car park adjacent to the boutique, situated next to the GP surgery.

We recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle in and enjoy the calm atmosphere before your appointment begins.

  • Most designers take 4-6 moths to create a made-to-order gown, plus allowing time for alterations. For this reason, we usually recommend beginning your dress search 9-12 months before your wedding date, so everything feels relaxed and enjoyable.

If you are working to a shorter timeline, please don’t worry, as some of our designers offer express production options for an additional fee. This can reduce the standard timeframe and ensure your gown arrives in time for your special day.

In certain situations, and with designers approval, we may also be able to offer the gown in store (to take away the same day) if it aligns with your size and needs. This can be a wonderful option for brides with shorter lead times or those falling in love with a specific gown.

If you are unsure when to begin or are planning a wedding sooner, please reach out, we are always here to guide you gently through your options.

  • Children are always welcome at Audrée Rose, and we completely understand that every family and bridal journey is unique. Our boutique is a calm, intimate space designed around delicate, high-value gowns, limited seating, and a peaceful atmosphere for our brides.

Many brides find the experience feels more relaxed and focused without the natural distractions that come with children, but we will always support what work best for your family.

If you do wish to bring a child, please kindly let us know in advance so we can prepare the space safely and comfortably. We simply ask that they remain supervised at all times to help protect them and the gowns, creating a serene environment for your appointment.

  • To help you feel comfortable and get the most from your time at Audrée Rose, here are a few things we recommend bringing with you:

    • Shoes -

If you have a preferred heel height for your wedding day, you’re welcome to bring your own shoes. We have a small selection of try-on heels in the boutique (not for purchase) so you can better visualise each gown’s length and silhouettes.

    • Underwear -

Neutral, seamless underwear is ideal, as it helps the gowns sit smoothly and allow you to see their true fit. A strapless bra can be helpful, though not essential, many gowns have built-in structure, and your stylist will guide you.

    • A dressing gown will be provided -

For comfort and privacy between changes, a soft dressing gown will be available for you to use throughout your appointment.

    • Minimal makeup and no fake tan -

To keep our gowns pristine for every bride, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing fake tan or heavy makeup to your appointment. These products can permanently transfer onto the delicate bridal fabrics. In the rare event that a gown becomes stained or damaged, brides may be liable for the professional cleaning or replacement costs. We share this gently, simply to protect the gowns and ensure every bride receives the same beautiful experience.

    • Optional inspiration -

Feel free to bring any saved images or ideas, but if you’re unsure what you are looking for, we’ll guide you with care.

  • Absolutely not- There is no pressure to make a decision during your appointment at Audrée Rose. Choosing your gown is a deeply personal moment, and we want you to feel calm, confident and certain.

If you fall in love with a gown on the day, we will celebrate with you. But if you’d prefer some time to reflect, to revisit your favourites, or to return with someone special, that is completely welcomed. Many brides find that stepping away and letting the experience settle helps them gain clarity.

We are here to support you, not rush you. Your bridal journey should unfold at the pace that feels right for you.

  • Once you’ve found the gown that feels unmistakably yours, we’ll guide you through a simple, gentle ordering process designed to keep everything clear and stress-free.

Firstly your stylist will take your measurements and discuss the size that will give you the best fit.

To begin your order, full payment is taken. This allows us to place your order immediately with the designer and ensures your gown enters production without delay. Many bridal designers now work on a made-to-order basis, so full payment at the start keeps the process smooth , transparent, and aligned with industry standards.

At this time we will be able to provide you with an estimated arrival timeframe. If you are on a shorter time frame, express orders (with certain designers only) is available at additional costs.

  • Alterations are not carried out in-house at Audrée Rose, however we can recommend a selection of trusted, highly experienced bridal seamstresses. Alterations are a separate cost and paid directly to your chosen seamstress, and the level of alteration will vary depending on your gown and preferred fit.
